An independent artist specializing in drawing and sculpture, she has long been drawn to clean lines and square forms, fascinated by how simple geometric shapes can be transformed into meaningful works of art. Inspired by artists such as Barbara Hepworth, she developed this interest through her training in sculpture before stepping away from the medium for 30 years to build a family and raise her children. During that time, the experiences of everyday life became the inspiration and symbolism that would later shape her work. When she returned to sculpture, she brought with her both her artistic foundation and decades of lived experience, making personal sacrifices and saving to have her work cast in bronze, a milestone many sculptors aspire to achieve. Today, her work reflects that journey, transforming clean, structured forms into pieces that carry personal meaning and tell a story.
